Oracle of Consciousness

#101 - Root Cause

Root Cause:

The basic cause of something.

What is the basic cause of all our troubles here on Earth?

What is the source of all the problems and challenges we are facing in our world today?

The arguments, dissatisfaction, inequalities, wars, nations posturing against each other, our own individual challenges that we come across, our pain, suffering and traumas, our own unexpected events that happen in our life, all of these things.

Wouldn't it be useful to know the root cause and foundation of them?

Well, to start with, when we are inhabiting one of these human bodies, and the driving force is survival.

Survival is the key driver for all life forces that are materialised as animals, birds, other species or human beings.

Choosing human beings as an example, whenever we feel threatened, or our survival is threatened in some way, we can be put into an agitated state, which can escalate into aggression, and we may have to fight for our survival.

Fortunately, as infinite beings, we don't have to worry about our survival, because as we are infinite, we were never born, and we will never die.

An infinite being cannot be destroyed, its survival cannot be threatened.

When we're looking for the root cause of our pain and suffering, our disconnection, our losses, of a relationship, a job, a car, loved one, etc., it's not actually the outer expression that is the source, it's the inner disconnection from who we really are at the core.

It may be a very temporary or it might be a lifelong thing.

But when we think we are disconnected from who we are, we will feel separate, we may feel superior, we will no doubt feel and experience fear and all of the ego subsets that go with this, and we will feel threatened.

What is the answer?

We shine the light of consciousness on our true being, our true identity, which is infinite, immortal, love, and every other possible beautiful human expression, including compassion and understanding.

We focus our attention on that, stay connected no matter how challenging it is, not being drawn into the drama around us, then we'll be able to ride out the storms and big waves and we'll be telling ourselves the truth.

Not allowing the ego to convince us -

"I am threatened and my survival is threatened",

instead,

"I am something much grander, something much, much bigger than I am able to describe".

Put your attention on that.

The irony is, it is impossible to be disconnected from your core, your infiniteness, because ALL things are connected.

Only the ego-mind thinks is it separate, but the reality is the exact opposite.

Beyond any trauma, pain, upsets, losses, etc., is the root cause and that is, we THINK we are separate from our core, from others, Nature, the Earth and beyond.

This is the Gand Illusion, a thought and idea that we are separate.

Put your attention on the light.

Put your attention on the love in your heart.

Put your attention on the infiniteness that is driving this expression of life and then you won't feel threatened.

This is the answer; to become more conscious of the Consciousness that you are.

And yes, it is challenging. If it was easy we would all be awakened and behaving wisely and more intelligently

It is also doable, as many in the past and present can attest too.

"If you are willing to take an instant to withdraw attention from whatever your internal dialogue is, to withdraw energy from whatever the latest point of view about your suffering is, it is immediately obvious what is here: the fullness, the richness and the love of oneself as conscious life."
